More than a half century since Secretariat’s astounding strength and champion’s heart inspired an entire nation, his name is still revered by new generations, and his achievements continue to capture the imaginations of those who hear his story.

Secretariat.com was created in 2002 as the original online source for this great champion and to honor his legend. Its mission is to celebrate Thoroughbred racing’s past by remembering its heroes; to enhance the awareness of the sport by educating today’s fans and sparking new ones; and to enrich racing’s future by assisting the charities and causes of the Thoroughbred community.

Secretariat.com continues to debut a collection of merchandise and serves as the premier online source for autographed photography, memorabilia and historical information chronicling the enduring legacy of America’s Horse.

Secretariat.com is also an ongoing source for select Thoroughbred-related charitable efforts, historical anniversaries and news.

We are especially grateful to the luminary Meadow Stable team and their myriad contributions to Secretariat's enduring legacy: Penny Chenery, Ron Turcotte, Eddie Maple, Lucien Laurin, Eddie Sweat, Charlie Davis, and Jim Gaffney.

We would also like to recognize the following contributors who have helped make this website possible: author Bill Nack, photo-journalist Ray Woolfe, columnist Steve Haskin and photographer Bob Coglianese and the photography and media departments of Churchill Downs, Pimlico, and the New York Racing Association. Selected images are available for purchase.

And to the faithful fans, thank you for your continuing interest in Secretariat and inspiring our efforts to keep the Big Red flame burning.
