The vote of 1999 for the horse of century is absurd....A simple image will make it clear : A high jump is at the end a race but VERTICALLY...and...a race is a high jump but HORIZONTALLY ! If the hightest jump wins and then``bury`` all the others under it then the fastest race``bury`` all the others under it ! All Man O`War times are UNDER Secretariat`s times and it would be superior ? So , following this logic , the hightest jumper with many records is not the best ? ...and lower jumps would prevail ? And those who arrive at these``answers`` would be credible ??
I think that this vote should have been taken by experts who know to give meaning to the figures and who understand the scope of records .
I end up with a sin : Secretariat is first and Kelso is second ! Man O`War was slightly overvalued in my opinion because Kelso is so fast and still has the 2 miles record . Kelso is making you dizzy with his card !!
