Happy Belated Birthday to my favorite former jockey!!! I had the pleasure of having a conversation with you at the Secretariat Festival on September 17, 2016. You autographed my riding helmet for me. I haven't worn it since and it's in my home office as a constant good memory of that special day.

My late husband and I met Secretariat in 1987 and it was a privilege to meet you 29 years later.

I frequently relive the historic moment in my memory of you charging down the home stretch at the Belmont. I was 16 then. Where do years go??? I often watch that race and YouTube and I still get a staccato heart rythm watching that race. Thank you for your generosity to me at the Secretariat Festival. That is a memory I will treasure the est of my life.

I wish you many happy birthdays in the future.
