Vintage Original Secretariat Pin Display

Description

Following Secretariat’s sensational 1973 Belmont Stakes victory, the New York Racing Association delighted Big Red racing fans and admirers with a promotional pin giveaway featuring the prestigious race’s recent winner and newly anointed Triple Crown Champion. In conjunction with this week’s running of the 2025 Belmont Stakes, Secretariat.com is proud to offer a limited quantity of these scarce vintage original pin casings, to be enjoyed individually or as an optional embellishment for images from our Belmont Stakes photo collection.

This hard-to-find historical keepsake is pure 70’s issue, consisting of a 2.25” circular metal base with printed exterior design featuring a sepia portrait of the Meadow Stable superstar surround by “Secretariat Belmont Stakes Winner 1973” in green block lettering (indicative of the period) along the outer circumference. To best showcase these historic yet affordable treasures, the pin is available in three separate options: individually, and arrives within its own protective acrylic membrane display case (order above); as an added embellishment to any Belmont Stakes photo as part of its archival matting and conveniently ready-to-frame; or we can provide a distinctive, ready-to-hang presentation complete with archival matting and classic black hardwood frame for your immediate viewing enjoyment.

Please note: the interior pin needle structure has been removed to prevent puncturing of acrylic membrane display case and associated matting.
