Secretariat by Dell Hancock

Description

The Hancock family’s Claiborne Farm is inextricably intertwined with Secretariat and the Meadow Stable going back decades. It is only fitting that some of the finest imagery of the great champion would be the work of Dell Hancock, whose photographic talents are renowned in the equine community.

Here, Dell captures Big Red in all his vibrant glory in one of her favorite images of Secretariat galloping in his private pasture. With the wind in his mane, his chestnut coat gleaming and muscles rippling in the sun, Secretariat is the embodiment of health and happiness in his deserved retirement. This evocative special edition photo is available in your choice of  8 x 10, 11 x 14, and 16 x 20 sizing, with the option of being hand-signed by Ms. Hancock at no extra charge. A great photo for a great cause, with a portion of proceeds to benefit the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation.

“Secretariat was just such a striking, impressive horse. I was in the right place at the right time.” — Dell Hancock
