Description

This special offering features Secretariat as portrayed by the late renowned equine artist Fred Stone. Entitled the “Final Tribute,” the poignant rendering of the champion was released as a limited edition lithograph immediately following Secretariat’s death in 1989. The release features the signature of Big Red’s famed jockey Ron Turcotte on each piece in the long sold-out edition which now can command up to $3000 on the secondary market. As appreciation for his participation and collaboration in the project, the artist gifted Mr. Turcotte a small quantity of specially made notecards, each measuring a diminutive 7” tall and produced with the same exceptional color and quality as the original fine art prints. From his own personal collection to yours, Mr. Turcotte is delighted to share these charming keepsakes with all fellow Secretariat fans!

Each mini-print features the handsome 1973 Triple Crown champion in dual form: running free in the bluegrass fields of his retirement, and also wearing the garland of red roses with Turcotte aboard following their victory in the Kentucky Derby. Better still, every print is hand-signed by the Hall of Fame rider, making this memento an instant collectible classic.
